RemindMeNow is a website where you can manage reminders for events in your life.
Reminders may be:
- SMS text messages
- emails
- Both SMS texts and emails
Today's busy lifestyle makes it difficult to remember everything. Many businesses use text reminders, for example dental and health appointments.
RemindMeNow enables you to set up similar messages to be sent to your selected recipients at specified times. These times may regular events that occur every week or month.
Families
Parents often find themselves running a taxi service dropping off and picking up their children from music, ballet, sport etc and its bad news if one of these gets "forgotten". A text message 15 - 30 minutes before can save the grief.
Sports teams
Players sometimes need reminding to attend practice sessions. A text message 30 - 60 minutes before can mean better attendance and a more productive session. If the weather makes an outdoor practice questionable, a message saying "Practice is definitely on and will be held in the stadium if raining" removes doubt.
Membership
Becoming a member is free. New members receive a $2.00 credit and may have up to 5 recipients in their list. Once this credit is used up, you may buy more credits on a pre-pay basis in multiples of $10.00. Credits are are non-refundable unless there are special circumstances. Once you have purchased your first pre-pay credit, the maximum number of recipients your list can contain is 50. This is sufficient for most groups.
As a member, you may login using your email address and passsword. This gives you access to your dashboard where you can manage your messages, recipients and profile. You can also see details of your invites, all financial transactions and your log of sent messages.
Earn free credits
You are encouraged to invite others to join ReminMeNow. When someone you invite registers and sets up a their first message, you receive a $5.00 credit!
Cost
The price of each message is based on the number of recipients. The more recipients of a message, the less cost per recipient.

For example if you sent 1 sms text message to 1 recipient (yourself?) that would cost 0.17. If you sent 1 sms text message to 20 recipients that would cost $3.20.
Messages
- Each message is limited to 160 characters. This also applies to emails.
- A message may be a "one-off" or repeated.
- Dates may be seletced from a user friendly pop-up calendar.
- Every message must have a start date.
- For repeated messages you may specify a number of repeats or an end date.
- Repeated messages may be daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. There are options for first Tuesday of each month, last Friday of each month, etc. The flexible options will cater for all repeated date sequences.
- You can display all the repeated dates and you have the option to omit certain dates. This is useful if a repeated date falls on a public holiday which could mean that it was then not applicable.
- Every message must have a list of recipients. "You" are always a possible recipient with the name "Me".
- Your recipient list is displayed when creating or updating a message. You may check the recipients that you want to receive this message.
